Philly better accept. Simmons has won a total of ONE playoff round more than SammyT and me combined. It's absurd to think Tampa would pay that price especially for a unneeded forward.

Yeah they don’t even really need a rental at that price. Maybe a decent 30 point guy who kills penalties. Or a cheap shutdown RHD, or maybe a backup should one of the goalies get hurt. A 60 win team doesn’t need to surrender their first in order to kill the league. The team has offence, they need defensive and PK “help” so I bet they could get the same D help that Simmonds gives at a lower price. And waaayyy less than that.

WAY too much for Simmonds .. Tampa papers finally reporting Lightning inquiring about Simmonds and Ferland. Question is Radish enough .. Gourde maybe the cost.
