Seems low for Hayes, Andrighetto seems like a career 4th liner, and Bowers doesn’t seem amazing at least yet. I may be greedy but would need a better return for Hayes. Love Nashville trade, Hayes should have similar value since he’s a C.

I like the Leafs trade as well as others. Nice job. I would be picky on this one as I think Nashville would not go with Fabbro in that deal but lesser prospect as well as I dont see Calgary selling Valimäki along with 1st rounder.

Hayes is a rentle, so I don't see teams giving up their very best prospects in trade. Kreider though having another year left on his contract at a great price, would in my opinion be more likely command a very best prospect like Fabbro in return.

Bowers seems like the perfect prospect fit because Quin recruited & coached him in Boston and COL would be more willing to trade Bowers over several other prospect they have.

I have a feeling Andrighetto could be a real good player if given top 9 minutes. He's an RFA that could be qualified at $1,550,000 next season before he becomes a UFA, so it seems like the perfect situation for Andrighetto to excell next season. If not, no long term commitment. Also, don't think COL would want to Also include a prospect like AJ Greer or of similar talent.

Thank you! I believe for Kreider NSH would... Kreider has another year left his on contract at a great $$$ cap price. Also it's been pointed out that NSH window of opportunity is the next 2-4 years and they don't have many other top prospects to get a player like Kreider with term at a good $$$.

I think the values are there but I dont think the teams give yo those package of players. For example I dont think Valimaki is someone Calgary is willing to move, same with Fabbro in Nashville, they probably get replaced with another prospect. Vesey wouldn't be enough for EDM to give up on Puljarjuvi, think they know teams are sniffing on him to buy low and EDM knows it. And finally I think the Tampa trade is something they look to do in the offseason when they feel more cap pressure

Seems a bit high, but with the way Zuccarello is playing I expect him to be worth in trade the equivalent of a late 1st & late 3rd round draft pick come the TDL. But because Fast is also included in the deal and signed for next season, I figure that pushes it up to a 1&2 pick. Then to two #1's because 50% $$$ cap retained.

I believe adding almost $4 million in cap space at the TDL and adding Namestnikov, who TBL "knows for sure" could play on any line or in any role/situation, will be too much of an allure to make the trade at the TDL. Also Namestnikov might have already been traded to another team by next season.

RE: Vesey has another year left on his contract with a low cap hit, which is something EDM desperately needs in trade. I don't see a better offer coming to EDM.

Tampa doesnt feel the pressure to move out money yet though and will have more options to explore in the off season that's why I think it will wait.

And I easily think a team like MTL out bids that offer for Puljarjuvi. I'm not saying the value is wrong but if it's only taking Vesey then I think another team would step up and pay a bit more. I used MTL as an example but Florida, Dallas, Phoenix are all teams that would step up.

Unfortunately for CGY, with the way Zuccarello's playing leading up to the TDL, a first round draft pick and prospect like Mangiapane will not be enough to land Zuccarello in trade. Especially if you want NYR to retain salary as well. Not to mention the other player included in the trade with the "31 year old" that fits in perfectly under the cap for the rest of this season and next season.

CGY is hot & heavy after Zuccarello, but several other teams are as well and don't need NYR to retain salary like CGY "must". Not to mention most other teams have a much larger pool of prospects to chose from to include in trade.

But obviously CGY is trying to win the cup this year, not make sure they hold onto their one and only D prospect. Relax, one less prospect from a small prospect pool when trying to win a cup will not make much of a difference.

If TBL does not trade Callahan at the TDL than it will be very difficult for them to make any trades at the TDL at all because of the $$$ cap situation.

Also I don't see anyone on the teams you mentioned that would give EDM more in trade than Vesey for Puljujarvi. Any suggestions?

IMO there are other deals out there to be made that dont require giving up our best prospect(last years 1st) and this years 1st.

In your opinion... What other teams have the cap room to even be able to make a trade with CGY? What other prospects are you talking about trading, because I don't see any others.

The way I see it... CGY wants to win the cup this year, but they have limited cap room and only have a few prospects teams would want in trade. Seems like you picked the wrong season for CGY to start rebuilding.

Nashville: price is pretty steep but seems bout fair. Problem is we really need to get rid of a nhl level contract. Maybe swap the 1st for hartman and a 3rd?

Rebuilding, who mentioned anything of a rebuild? I would much rather prefer a power forward like ferland who the entire team is familiar with and doesn't run the risk of ruining the chemistry. He's 5 years younger and fits into the middle 6. Not too mention, his cap hit this year is a third of zucc's. You cant tell me that would require the same return your claiming zucc would aquire.

I would give up kylington, mangiapane, philips, gawdin before valimaki.

Rick Nash was a rental and brought back a massive return a 1st, good defensive prospect as well as other pieces. I do agree most teams don’t want to give up premiums for a rental, but Hayes is on pace for 67 pts based off an 82 game season if he didn’t have an injury and he really hasn’t had great line mates. I do think being a C as well he should have good value.

Think we're on the same page, just I believe the listed COL return is much better than the Nash trade return... First off - Andrighetto cant be any worse than Spooner and would be qualified for only a one year contract, not two in Spooner's case.

Second - Bowers is a much higher rated prospect than Lindgren. Third - NYR is not taking back a bad contract like Beleskey. Fourth - I believe BOS gave up a #1 & a #7 draft pick, but COL #1 draft pick should be much higher than BOS' last years one.
