TB loses that trade. Parayko and Thomas are good assets, but so are Miller, and Point is a superstar, arguably a TOP10 C in the NHL.

Just can't see Tampa Losing Point. I think they will do absolutely whatever they can to sign him long term. They LOVE him, and rightfully so. He's unreal.

As a Blues fan that isn't a deal I would want to make. Maybe for Pietrangelo, but Parayko is our best Defenseman period. Plus Point is an extra Center we don't really need. Believe me I love Point, but if it happens it's gonna be something that isn't so cap heavy for us. So Pietrangelo, Bozak, Thomas, and a 1st for Point Sergachev. We have no need in Miller. Our Wingers are good.

Petro+Bozak+Thomas+1st for Point and Sergachev is atrocious for TB. Petro's walking next season (TB is out of money), Bozak is a 4C in TB with NTC and they don't need prospects like Thomas when they're contending.

Not if Pietrangelo signs and extension and I would guarantee that he would because it is Tampa.

And with Point leaving he would be a 3rd LIne Guy again. Thomas plays on the wing at the moment.

If you don't want to make the trade that's fine. That point trades makes us worse off when getting rid of Parayko.

It would be pointless for TB to sign Pietrangelo, since they already have two very good young RHDs coming (Cernak and Foote). He's going to be 30yo+ when the contract is made. Besides, he's already starting to decline a little. As you said, he is now worse than Parayko. The discussion on his value have been around Nylander+. Point is twice, if not even thrice more valuable than that.

If TB deals Point, they most likely move Johnson back to center. Therefore, their centers would be Stamkos --> Johnson --> Thomas/Cirelli --> Bozak in this example.

It's fine for me too. But the trade you suggested is seriously bad.

I don't think it is bad because you bring in our best Prospect in Thomas to replace Point's missing spot, and what would happen is Pietrangelo becomes a leader for some of the young Defenseman, and can plug up some holes in the lines.

Tampa isn't dealing Point, They like him and he loves playing there. Losing Point and gaining Panarin does no good for Tampa.
