Chicago, what else needs to be added here to make it a done deal? CHI desperately needs a Goalie Prospect and Primeau is on top of the list. NO we are not trading Drouin. He will become an 70-80 pointer in 1-2 years. PATIENCE EVERYONE.

Be ready for hate... Honestly, I think the base of the trade is great, but many CHI fans won't think this... MTL would still have to add a 2nd

Goalie prospects are such a risk at that age and that's why I think Chicago would decline.

Drouin will be a 70-80 point winger in 1-2 years. He surely hasn't shown it yet. Larkin is tons better then Drouin will ever be.

I do agree that goalie prospects are a gamble. Fair point.

For Drouin, I just hate to see habs fan give up on a player so quickly and demand a trade. Buy low sell high.

CHI has use for Primeau, sure.

But are they really desperate on him? No, I don't think so.

Imo MTL should keep Primeau. Considering Price's injury history, who knows how useful Primeau will be in their future...

If I were CHI, I'd inquire VAN about their goalies. They've Demko and DiPietro. Both very good prospects. Could be willing to make a much more profitable deal than this, even though it's just framework.
