If you want McDavid, we want Hart... I think a fair package starts with Couturier, Hart, and Konecny. You have to really overpay if you want the best player in the world for the next 7 years...

It’s one thing to ask for Hart, it’s another to ask for Hart and Couturier plus, Hart, Konecny 2 firsts and take back Lucic is a heavy enough over payment

Hart is a non starter. Goalie is the most important position in hockey.

If, HUGE IF, McDavid were ever available it would take AT LEAST the package involving Hart and Couturier.....and to be honest, that might not even do it.

You must be a goalie, because having the BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD typically trumps what you perceive as the most important position in hockey. Not to mention, that while a goaltender is important, you don't need the best in the world to win.

Not a goalie at all. How has having the best player in the world worked out for EDM so far? The Flyers would be stupid to trade their 1st true high end/possibly elite goalie since Hextall. The fan base would lose their minds! We don't NEED McDavid by any means so giving up what you have asked for isn't something that would interest us.

McDavid is a non starter too, lol. He's only the best player in the world at 22 years old...

I have seen alot of McDavid trade ideas this is the most realistic.

A. you would have to include this years 1st round pick as well.

B. I think he has a better chance of being traded to Ottawa than a team with a ugly as hell mascot that is so bad they have spent a whole year trying to PR his image. It just tells you the incompetence level in Philly.
