Description
Haula's a bit of a gamble but if he stays strong after his injury he'll be an excellent 2/3C.

VGK does not seem to value Miller very highly.

I like the idea of Haula, but I'm not sure Miller is what we need, he's not the most reliable guy in his zone, we have enough attacking defenders.

Bring back Zadorov? Never should have traded him in the first place

Pysyk, McNabb, Myers. Maybe we do not have Dahlin. let's presume we could have had him:
Dahlin - Pysyk
Zadorov - Ristolainen
McNabb/McCabe - Myers
Some people still think DATM did a good job. BTW Pysyk, Myers and Zadorov all had the second best +/- for their respective teams while McNabb is always near the top of ANY team he is on.

Miller is a 3rd pairing guy who can help on the PP. You haven't improved your defense.

We can agree to disagree. I was merely undoing all of the trades that DATM made making Buffalo D-core one of the worse in the NHL. Since we would not have had SJS or STL first round picks we would not have been able to trade for Montour, so I included Myers and also dropped Bogosian because we got him when we traded away Myers.
That LHD looks pretty good, IMO Pilut was hurt early and his performance suffered, he could easily become our #2 LHD with the 2 Mc's sharing #3.
BTW I think we had this conversation already, Montour will be good. I would like to point out that with him Buffalo has 3 defensemen among the NHL top 41 scoring D-men.
