Agreed and signing a coveted player oversea's and then immediately using his value and interest for trade purposes really hurts the reputation and the ability to recruit future free agents in other hockey markets. There are other players on the Leafs that hold similiar value as of right now that you'd be better off including in a trade that would be less harmful to the organization.

I don't think the Leafs target PK either, they can't have a $9m defenceman when they have 3 forwards making over $10m.

Take out Johnsson from that deal and think the Leafs should trade Kap to someone else for assets over Johnsson.
