Best 3rd line ever

Description
I think we need to establish Chicago's untouchables

Kane, Toews, Keith, DeBrincat, Strome, Caggiula, Crawford (for now), Delia, Slavin, Joki, Boki, and whoever we draft

I'm a big John Hayden Fan and would love the first line to be Caggs-Tazer-Hayden

So I would take Panarin over Saad any day. Saad is better defensively but IMO we have Kahun and Kahun is just a smaller version of Saad with maybe a little more offensive potential. I really really like Kahun and my personal opinion is that he had a better 82 game season than Saad. Stats may say other wise but Kahun is a takeaway machine. I loved him wherever he played. He did well on the 2nd line, 1st line, and 3rd line. My opinion is that he is the PERFECT 3rd liner. He can score and he can play almost flawless defense. He is really similar to Caggs as well except Caggs can throw his body around. These two should play together and just rip it up all over the top 9. Turcotte and Cozens aren't small either so if we take one of them our 3rd line is gonna be sick.

you are not getting Slavin for that but I like getting Gustafsson for Leafs. But I dont think thats realistic. What about Kadri for Murphy (retained at half) and Hayden?

You’ve literary given nothing of value for Slavin - you’d need to come a lot harder to even get a conversation about him. Aho, Slavin, and Svechnikov are the absolute untouchable players on the Canes.

I think Slavin is gonna cost way more than that, especially with his play in the playoffs. I don't think the Canes would want to move him anyways. He's going to be an elite defenseman going forward at a VERY reasonable cap hit.

I like how it costs TO more to get Gustafsson than it does for Chicago to get Slavin. Hawks fans are not half as bad as Leaf fans at overvaluing their players. Lol

I don’t think I need to comment about Slavin since everyone else did.

Whoever we draft at 3 probably won’t play in the NHL next season. They might get the 9 games but won’t be a main stay. Byram might play but that’s uncertain

I’ll do that without retaining. It would turn Kadri into roughly a 6.5 cap hit and that’s not ideal for 3C or for the hawks future when needing to resign their players. Maybe throw in a pick if you don’t think it’s fair. This also won’t happen if the hawks hang onto Anisimov.

To be fair, 90% of the people on this site overvalue their own players.

According to all of those who are not Leaf fans, only Leaf fans overvalue their players. Of which I am commenting on.

Leafs would never do that

Carolina would never do that for either trade.

Buffalo trade...meh
