1st of all, jets aint giving Connor 4 years, its 3 or 7. The $$ is right for 7 years. if its 3, he's getting 5.5-6

2nd, Unless Faulk comes with a reasonable extension jets say no. Considering there's been rumours thrown around about Laine for Svech and Pesce, Car fans are probably taking this in a heartbeat. IMO you should swap faulk and bean for pesce then take out 1st and replace with 2nd.

Somebody needs to teach svechnikov not to lead with his face or not scrap at all, interesting but I would pass also. Creative build well done

Unless the Jets retain half of Laine's cap Carolina can't afford him...

If Carolina doesn't have a plan in place for when/if a Laine trade happened to make the cap work, they wouldnt be in the conversation for the trade. Theres always a way to make it work.

All Carolina has to do is move Nino for picks/prospects and they are good. That is if its Pesce and Svech for Laine and JP.

Doubt Carolina would do it. Laine isn't worth that much. Bean is one of the best D prospects in the league, Svechnikov will be a potent 30+ goal scorer. Throwing in Faulk and a 1st is a stretch. Realistically though you could get Faulk, a 1st and one top young player/prospect but not 2

Svechnikov scored 10 less goals than Laine last season. No way Carolina makes their team worse this year but trading three regulars for 10 more goals. Their future is worse and they're over the cap for Laine.

This was done to fix wpg d and get a scoring winger ...all in the hope Carolina couldn't resist laine / ago/ puljujarvi ...I think both teams hate it so it might work ..wpg only gets faulk for one yr guaranteed and lotto tickets for laine and JP ...mind you they're pretty good tickets

Terrible trade for the jets

Pronman ranks Bean as the 62nd best prospect at the moment - and lots of D-men ahead of him. I'm not sure I would do Svechnikov for Laine straight up though (from Carolina's side) because Svech is a much more complete player, so this trade is a non-starter.
