I would take Andersen anyday of the week. One of the most consistent goalies in the nhl and on a way better contract then price. Price is up there with the worst of the worst

Andersen isn't even a top 5 goalie. all the top goalies in the league are playing bad right now. that doesn't mean that andersen is better. Vasilevsky, Price, Rask, Gibson, Rinnie, Bobrovsky, Holtby are all better goalies than Andersen. Heck i'd even throw in Bishop who is an elite goalie.

in the past yes price has been the best in the world. currently gibson is the best id say but guys like bob or price are declining a ton whereas andersen has been consistently amazing. without him the leafs are a bottom 10-15 team in the league at best. especially when you see their contracts andersen is way more valuable

rinnie at age 36 is better than andersen in his prime. there is no comparison. a few good games doesn't make andersen better. andersen isn't even a top 5 goalie in the league, let alone a top 7 goalie. acording to your logic, darcy kuemper is a better goalie than Price, Lundqvist, Holtby Bishop Rask etc. poor argument. these guys are elite goalies and are paid such high salaries for a reason. andersen may seem like a decent contract, but just wait 2 years till you need to sign him lmao. there is no comparison between andersen or Price. Price is much much better. its like comparing Fluery to griess. both are great, but we all know which one is the elite goalie and which one is just above average playing behind a good team.
