I usually don't comment on things not Montreal, but him signing for 9 Million shouldn't even be an opinion.

Halls comparable is panarin, who got 11.6 AAV. At this point, accepting 10.5 would be taking a huge discount

Tavares took 2m less to come to Toronto. Just assumed the 9m was 2m less than the expected 11m.

Panarin is one of the comparables, as is kuch. Who is more than 2 mill less than that. If he wants to be on a contender, which he has clearly stated he wants, he's going to have to take less money. IMO he lands somewhere between 9-10 mill

Why did he play for Windsor if he’s a cgy kid? Wouldn’t Windsor bring him back to Ottawa or Toronto as his hometown team?

Patrick Kane has played 2nd line most of his career, what's your point?

Just looks funny lol. Not how I’d set the lines is all, no real point. Also Kane plays 2nd line so that he and Toews can drive different lines. Unless you think Tkachuk is on the same level, this isn’t happening here

Dude his opinion is based on facts, Hall wants Panarin money so you're talking about 7 x 11.6 million, Doubt Hall takes anything less then 7 x 10.5 no way in hell he signs for only $9 million per.

Hall shouldn't be compared to Panarin in any way. I'm not a Rangers fan, but Panarin is a way better player and it's honestly not close. Any team willing to go more than 10 is crazy in my opinion.
