That’s a nice looking team imo. Especially if Boqvist pans out

Ya, not having Seabrook's money on the books definitely allows for nice flexibility. Just lacking a #1D really.

Yep the Hawks will be able to spend Seabrook's LTIR in 2020/21. The danger cap wise for the Hawks is their a possibility that he returns for any of his 2021/22 to spring 2024.
Much was said about Robidas Island for the Robidas of the Leafs...but that was only for one season. It was Lupul and his three years of LTIR that had Leafs nervous...Was he gonna be medically fit?

2 things; Strome on a bridge isn't worth more then $5M. Maatta should be moved in favor of Gilbert.

That said, you should have $5M in cap space given those two moves

Taking Dach and having him be able to come in and play center right away is looking more and more like the right move for Chicago.

How is that a nice looking team? It is essentially the same **** team as this year, except you now overpaid for a soft no defense slow skating 3C in Strome.

I’m assuming guys like Dach, Boqvist, Strome, kubalik, Nylander, Mitchell, etc.. all continue to progress. Strome isn’t a 3C. He’s a good 2C imo. 50-60+ point guy

This is literally the same team as this year and it’s a train wreck. They’re inconsistent, don’t drive possession, and don’t play team defense. This is the third year in a row they’ve looked good on paper and **** on the ice. I’d have to disagree that this looks like a good team. It looks like a bottom of the conference team...again.

I think what they are talking about is more development of the younger guys and bringing more consistency, perhaps a change of coaching but there is definitely some upside to us moving forward with the young pieces we have getting ice time currently.
