Buffalo won’t make that trade unless the pick is protected and if kreider resign.

Skinner just went down and the GM needs to make the playoffs. You might get the pick protected, but it wont have a resign provision. I still think they would do it without any additional provisions. I think because of the market Krieder is going to get more then he should. He should get a 1st from calgary of someone who expects to be picking 26th and up. And Gms seem to overly value past playoff performance.

A backup, Miller is likely in his last year, i wouldn't do the trade now, just ride out Miller, but next year, I'd at least strongly consider it, we have tons and tons of center depth, steel Zegras, Terry and Comtois can both play C, plus there's a decent chance a guy like Stutzle is BPA this upcoming draft for us

Neither Comtois or Terry will be centers. Trading a solid asset for a back up goalie is poor asset management. No chance the ducks trade a former 1st rounder for a a backup goalie even if he has started potential.

There is every indication that one of Anaheim's future two top lines is Rickard Rakell and Jacob Silfverberg surrounding Isac Lundestrom instead of Sam Steel. We might trade Antoine Morand for Georgiev, but no one higher up the food chain.

Why would we need another goal tender? We have Gibson, Miller and not to mention all of our prospect goalies like Erkisson Ek and Dostal in the making.
