Toronto needs Doughty more than they need Tavares. They have plenty of scoring and a bonafide 1C already in Auston Matthews. They have zero defensemen capable of playing 1RD.

Easy choice IMO.

Not a TOR fan, but Tavares is miles and miles better than Doughty

If LAK throw in some additions like picks and prospects they may talk other than that Tavares probably holds more value.

Let’s say the kings picked up say 2m on doughty to bring cost down. What would Toronto offer? I’ve made several different trades just basically because I think doughty would excel in Toronto and is what they could use but I get killed by Toronto fans, lol. So what would Toronto offer in this scenario? And just A note, I don’t think doughty is moving nor am I pushing to trade him. Just a curiosity
