“Somewhat realistic”

There's a difference between a 24 yo RFA and a 30 yo UFA who's always injured.

Why do you absolutely want him gone?

The 10 points more points per season that 30 yo UFA scores a year while playing less games? Domi has reverted to the 50 point centre this year, he doesnt have this kind of value.

There is big difference in talent though. ??‍♂️ Not like NJ would have traded Hall straight up for Domi. Hall as a UFA has more trade value.

While I agree they likely won't trade him for Domi, the Hall trade is not comparable. Taylor Hall was a UFA, riddled with injuries and 4 years older. Domi's contract is done this summer, but he is RFA and Colorado would still retain his rights. Hall is clearly the better player, but the contract situations don't compare.
