2 project bottom pair d men a bunch of nothing and a second for a top 4 d man and middle 6 forward that is extremely important to the team imo and he's young...

Allard certainly has top 4 potential, Hollowell could be replaced by either Duszak Lindgren or rasanen. I used Hollowell for his offensive flare. Ducks save money both this year and next to take on cap dumps. A a young rhd to play next season and another prospect. I’ve watched enough of Manson over the last two seasons to see what he is worth. Will most likely become Toronto’s new whipping boy.

Funny how Ritchie is “young” but you dismiss 3 younger players in this trade.

Any suggestions for what pieces the ducks would rather have?

Preds - I wouldn't give up that NJD 2nd for a middle 6 forward

I've never been an Allard fan, maybe he'll be a low end 4, but not any more, idc about any of those guys (like pick one, not like they're completely useless like Moore, who is older than Ritchie) and Hollowell won't be close to replacing Manson next year, which is what is really needed (not quite that level, but better than bottom pair... There's already Guddy Holzer and Del Zaster for that) and I doubt Manson would be TOR's "whipping boy" he's miles better than everyone on that defense not named Rielly Dermott or Muzzin, and can actually defend

Any actual quality pieces would be nice... And preferably not middle 6 forwards, we have 50 million already

Odds of that draft pick turning into 100 nhl games is less than 40% I believe. It would be the cost of obtaining a player with the skill level of Johnsson. Even on a bit of an injured down year.

Thought the idea of adding to the right side with younger prospects would work. What would you want for a player like Manson with his play over the last two seasons?

I watch a lot of Manson out here.... with one goal and three assists for the oposition... I could see him being the whipping boy. I like his style of play and in a lesser role I think he could be successful.

My bad in Moore/Ritchie. I thought Ritchie was 25.

Yup I figured but that is just not going to happen.

The idea here was to move Johnsson for pieces to flip.

I’m not completely oblivious to Manson’s play (both good and bad). I do like his style and contract length. I think that might fit in Toronto.

Check out Friedman’s 31 thoughts today. It’ll show that ducks fans aren’t crazy and ANA actually values Manson extremely high.

They can value him highly. It could just be the role he has been thrust into but he has not looked good. Not last season and less this season. I don’t much care what friedman says.

The idea here was to move some rhd prospects in. Obviously Toronto has none of decent value that they can trade. It could be that I am higher on allard than most.

NSH doesn't need anymore middle 6 players - they have a plethora. They need impact forwards and Johnsson is not that. At least whomever they draft with that pick still could, even if it's small.
