I don’t get why buffalo fans continues to thik they’re gonna get trochek plus for Montour or risto. I don’t think they get the top 4 lhd part

No they wouldn't? Tallon is already on record wanting a top pairing LHD for Trocheck. And neither Risto or Montour are that.

Detroit declines, Unless we're adding either Montour or Ristolainen. AA isn't happening.

Montour has played the left side this year so that helps your situation maybe some? Idk, I think Tippett in there is ridiculous but Montour and mitts I don’t think is unreasonable as the core of the trade

Trocheck is on pace for a 50 point season. You are acting like he is a top line center. He just came back from serious injury and it is pretty obvious he is not the same player. Montour has shown he can play on both sides this season and could easily flip a RHD in offseason if needed. That being said I think Mitts and Tippet are pretty much a wash but I thought each team would value the position more. Panthers could use another center to replace Torcheck and Tippet playing wing could be more beneficial since sabres have Cozens.

To say Montour or risto is not fair value trocheck is just crazy look at the market right now for rental bottom pairing dman. Scandella could barely make sabres starting lineup and Montreal got a 2nd and fourth. Montour is a top 4 puck moving Dman. Meanwhile, Trocheck is a under performing second line center and if panthers are looking to trade him they must think the injury will prevent him from being the point producer he was before.

Heard both top 4 LD and top pairing LD. Not sure which one is accurate.

Yeah the way he has played I think detriot would be lucky to get a package like that. a second, roster player under control and a B + prospect who is killing it in Finnish Elite league. He is averaging over point per game and is third in the league for points per game.

AA was hurt before the season started, And i don't know if he totally recovered from it. Plus is just now coming back from a 2nd injury and has been playing much better here lately. Rodriguez has no value to us and a guy playing over in the Finnish elite league yeah that package is pretty underwhelming right now.

So has AA. If you are accepting a better package get ready to be disapointed. No one wants to deal with his manager ( same as Nylander, marner and others), his play has been terrible, doesnt know how to play defense at all and having injury problems is just icing on the cake. It also sounds like detriot doesnt want him otherwise he wouldnt be on trade block.

In my opinion, it’s way harder right now to find a younger 2C compared to a RHD, the market seems to have many more of those available. Also nevermind the fact that Botterill is screaming Desperation lately with way too many defenders will lead to them being slightly less valuable than a guy like trocheck. I think Montour and Mitts for Trocheck and maybe like a 3rd rounder is pretty fair. Even if you think it could be an overpayment, the value a competent top-6 center to this team is completely enough to maybe go a little higher imo

We don’t need a puck moving defenseman we need a shutdown LHD. Montour isn’t that...again easy no from the Cats

Yes he has been terrible but your 1st line are the only forwards with more points than AA. Since he is an RFA Detroit doesn't have to worry about taking a lesser deal.
