There's a lot of value going Stars' way here, but moving Heiskanen would make our defense so much weaker it makes me want to decline this...

Props for trying though.

Ya I appreciate he didn't offer something like Marner and a 3rd and a random prospect.

Do you think Toronto would be up for a Holl and Kerfoot for Savard and Anderson type of a trade, not sure who would need to add and how much they would have to add.

Value's good. If Anderson signs cheap, I'd take it.

That should for sure be one of two Dubarellis moves at TDL, and a second package of Barrie + Hyman + Dermott should bring in the Top Pair Defensive RHD to complement Rielly......

OP : sry but that DAL trade is bad as bad can be

Not sure if that deal even helps the Leafs next year. Radulov has seen a serious decline this year, do the Leafs want to carry him for another two full seasons. Heiskanen and is cap good for just this one season then does he get Trouba/Chabot money at 8m, so who gets jettisoned to fit him in. Leafs need the cost efficient Sandin and hopefully Robertson in two years.

That trade is a disaster for Toronto. I can't think of a package a team could send me for that and I'd be happy with. WAY too much to give up, not happening.

The Columbus Savard/Anderson for Holl/Kerfoot doesn't solve any issues for Toronto. In fact it creates more. Another winger they don't have space for (bUt hE hAs gRiT) and a trading an RHD for an RHD doesn't improve the depth at the position. Sure Savard might be better but is a year away from UFA status and could create a bigger hole that way.
