    Yeah it would take a SEVERE overpay to get guys like Hart, Shesterkin, Merzlikins, Samsonov and Blackwood(btw the metro is insnane) out of their respective teams

    As the guy first guy said, the Flyers aren't giving up Couturier for Marner, so alot of this trade falls through there. Also in this scenario, the Flyers are also giving up their 1C, 2C, & 1G and in return are getting a 1RW & 1G. This would leave the Flyers with possibly the worst center depth in the league. Lastly, the term "untouchable" is so overused and watered down on this site that's it's practically meaningless, but Carter Hart is really the one untouchable guy for the Flyers. Us Philly fans have waited decades for a franchise goalie. If they trade him they did with Bobrovsky, the fans would be in upheaval.

    Zero chance we move Hart. Organizationally we have been a **** storm goalie wise for as long as I can remember. We finally draft what appears to be our future franchise goalie and we deal him.......no thanks.

    Hayes doesn’t need to be bought out. He’s slightly overpaid but played very well and fits the room. Did you even watch him play this year??

    Coots is our best player. Need I say more?

    Niskanen helped stabilize Provorov and I’m happy to keep him another year.


    Flyers decline based on Flyers needs without getting into value.

    We could have got Hart if Lou traded up in the draft giving up on drafting woll and Grundström which would have been fine to be honest. The other option not draft Korshkov and draft Hart instead. In general I dont think anyone saw Hart becoming an NHL goalie as quickly as he did not to mention the flyers new starter.

    Legitimately if you aren't willing to move Matthews don't bother even dialing the phone. There is not a chance you move him under any circumstances. He's going to be the best goalie in the world at his best.
