Except Marner is far more established as a star than any of those. But in terms of the premise I guess ya

This is a good package, but we are obliged to return the young center in the deal, we already have #1 LD.

i gotcha just mean like we already need C depth so to trade Eichel you need a halfway decent Center coming back you can plug in to the 1st line for the time being til hopefully Cozens can become that.

side note: Eichel aint going nowhere

I agree. He’s not going to get traded this offseason. But the pressure needs to be put on.

Sabres pass on this deal. Rantanen won't have McKinnon or Eichel in Buffalo with this trade. Nothing about this deal is remotely interesting. COL is outbid by 10 to 19 other teams.
