I would but I don't exactly have much cap space left.

Honestly, I think you're selling low on both deals.

If Buffalo could get Johansen for that they should make that trade ASAP!
Surely Nashville could get better or more though even with his down season.

Buffalo needs Nashville to retain 1.5 on that deal and then yes they can jump on that. Otherwise would need Nashville to take Okposo back

Nah. If they dump Okposo to NSH then they'd better give up that 2020 1st rounder as well.

Who gives a **** about the retention, if that's all it takes just make the trade and deal with the cap, doubt Nashville would make that trade though.

Nah they wouldn't be giving up the 2020 first to get rid of Okposo. Would just have to pass on a deal for Johansen cannot fit that contract into their cap structure even if Nashville wants a minimal return.

If they can't get someone to take Okposos contract then you would have to deal Reinhart to make the cap work

Depends on if you can move some other contracts. Cannot have a roster full of players that under perform their contracts. Even if he gets 25-30 goals per year Skinner is overpaid. Okposo is way overpaid. Reinhart is likely about to be overpaid. That gives you 5 forwards using up 1/2 of your cap. Next season Dahlin will be taking at least another 10% and we don't have a lot of prospects ready to fill in the gaps on elc's.

Sabres accept, trade Reinhart for a servicable Rw and futures, and trade Risto for next to nothing for cap space. Still worth the gamble.
