This is going to happen to many teams though. The virus is on a resurgence most playoff teams are going to be short a player or 3 at all times due to the virus. In hockey theres so much equipment and mouthguards etc that will pick up droplets at any given time and that player will catch it. Its going to be a long hard road until theres a proper vaccine available.

They should just say F it and play on. Make them sit out.
Teams who are smart enough to self isolate win.

Truth is they probably don't finish the season at this point. Every sport is reporting teams with players catching it. NBA, NFL, MLB, All of them are having the same problem. You either except the risk and play on and tell the sick people to stay home. Or you don't play.
It's not going to resolve any time soon.

I would imagine that would be playoff teams would argue they deserved to be in the lottery due to them losing their playoffs. I'm hardwired to assume if there's a chance to screw over the Sens, that thing will happen.
