holtz won't be ready by next season...while his shot is nhl ready there are many things he needs to clean up before he's fully ready

Yeah i can see Alexander Holtz to Buffalo being a real possibility, But he's probably at least 2 seasons away from being NHL ready.

If he doesnt make it, move Okposo up and slot Roy in as 4c and move Lazar over. Or Ruotsalainen/Mittelstadt makes the team and Kahun slots over on the right

Vancouver has limited cap space. Extra year of Risto + needing to sign a backup make this a no. Buff will need to take on equal salary and term to get rid or retain salary.

The cap in this trade is even. And the idea would be that Dipietro steps in as back up eventually

Someone has to fall. Holtz, Rossi, Perfetti. Not unreasonable for the assumption that Holtz will be there

Yup this makes the most sense for them, But Holtz would definitely be a sweet addition for them.

Holtz should be there, I don't have him till 9, I'd rather have a guy like Lundell (quite easily), or Perffetti or Drysdale (and obv Raymond (three) and Rossi (five)

Vancouver has 43 mill in cap space for 21-22 currently with plenty of time to plan.

The overwhelming majority of mock drafts have him going around 7 and if hes not that means some one else is dropping to 7. He fills their need perfectly as well

Yeah, he wouldn't be the worst pick at 7, but there are guys that will be there that I'd rather have that will be there, especially if guys like Askarov or Sanderson get taken before 7

All these guys are great, and all could turn to be steals if they hit their potential. Just a preference thing. I’d prefer Rossi if he’s still there

I didnt plan on those 2 going that high, but that would be awesome. Sabres would have a lot of choices at 7

You could certainly argue that, three through five for me are practically interchangable

So you were wrong and your solution is to say Vancouver should just figure it out? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

No thanks. Buffalo can figure it out

No i just have 0 idea why youre complaining, the cap is even. Your complaint is they need to sign a backup goalie for a year and that they have Risto in 21-22 like they wouldnt be able to plan around that season having nearly 50% of their cap available. Nothing you said seems to be any sort of hurdle and youve not said a player that Vancouver would tack on as a better option for a cap dump in 21-22. So you can see why my answers are very impudent
