Now that is a nice lineup. If I was the Leafs GM though I would trade one of Muzzin or Dermott to allow Sandin to slide in the 2nd pair and hopefully get picks and prospects back to get more cap flexibility for deadline trades

Sandin isn't ready to do that, no need to rush him, if he even needs a time in the AHL here and there then so be it.

I don't watch a lot of Leafs games but he seemed pretty good in the games I saw this year but you would know better as a Leafs fan

Muzzin is literally the leafs only really good defensive defender, why on earth would they trade him?

They wouldn't not after extending him anyway, no (big) UFA would sign in TOR ever...

Every Leafs fan always thinks it is the goalies fault. Freddie is the best goalie the Leafs had since Cujo I think.

Freddie is the best Leaf since he arrived. When you have no defensive support, playing goalie is hard.

Uh huh, the guy who has never had a better season till this year where he was 0.01 better at sv% while never being a starter is better. Good one.

at least thats cheaper than what they were originally asking for him, to think they could have had Kapenan.
