Doesn't work, Nashville's gonna say no pretty easily.

They're considered to have the best goaltending duo in the league right now in Rinne and Saros. Plus, they're not going to give up Josi unless they get a massive overpayment.

Which this is not, by a large margin.

So I hate this deal too but wtf? Rinne had an 895 sv% and everyone thinks he's done as a starter. You might wanna check on that.

Josi isn't going to be traded down for medium players and yes Murray right now is medium.

This is insanely bad. Nashville will need a backup once Rinne is done, but you don't trade your 1D for it. It makes no sense.

THAT IS SOOO OFF. We don't need more goalies, Rinne and Saros are both better than Murray and Josi is just, he's not tradeable

I see The Athletic having Nsh at 4 at the start of the year but nothing since.
Sporting news was two months ago and Nsh wasn't listed.
Hockey Writers had Nsh at 5 to start the year and lower at midseason. Nothing since.

So lets just say no one thinks that anymore and call it a day. We all agree on this anyway.

I misremembered the article in question. I wanted to go back and reread just to be sure myself.
