I hope you guys realize whats happening:

Taylor Hall is about to somehow win another lottery.

Its all in the works!

Dont get me wrong, I love the yotes, but they are playing Nashville, and if they lose, when they lose... They are going to win the number 1 overall pick.

(Also the pick was traded to NJ, but ITS TOP 3 PROTECTED HAHAHAHAHA)

Arizona would have walked away before giving a 1st up this year unprotected.

I'm hoping for Arizona, Minnesota, Nashville, etc. Teams on the west coast that don't really effect the Sens much.

I kinda hope coyotes win it. Out of all the teams that are in running they kinda need it the most. Would dramatically help on ice product but also marketing ticket sales and all round be most beneficial. I’m an oilers fan and as much as I’d like to see oilers win it that just doesn’t seem right as a possibility. Could instantly give them the two best lines in the league.

That would be worst case scenario. The Isles pick is top 3 protected. Getting an unprotected 1st next year would be interesting, but I want to draft/trade that pick this year.

Crazier things have happened. NJ could've told them to take out one of the prospects in exchange for the protection, wouldn't have been impossible
