in the scenario that he does get traded, with a 0.01 chance of happening, this would ideally be the return. just thought it would be fun to see what kind of package the leafs could get back. wouldn't ever wants Auston to leave though

Avs don't have any use for Dermott but Mikheyev could be a fit. I would prefer an established top 6 winger instead but if we can't find a good deal for one then Mikheyev could be a good backup plan

I'm usually reluctant to trade that 2020 COL 1st, but Mikheyev is a player I would consider moving it for. However, a 1st might be a bit high on its own given that we could simply offersheet Mikheyev and give up less (eg. a 2nd if the OS is less than $4.227m).

I'm not sure Colorado has a need for Dermott though. What would your proposal look like if you removed Dermott? Would you remove the 3rd from Colorado and add a pick/prospect going back from Toronto? Alternatively I guess we could flip him to another team. Or maybe he would make Graves expendable, but trading Graves makes no sense if we fill the top 6 spot with Mikheyev.

If we did accept this trade and flipped Dermott I'd prefer if that 3rd was in 2021 instead, as moving both 1st and 3rd this year leaves us with no pick in the first 3 rounds.
