What a horrible klingberg trade.

If Seabrook is on LTIR why would you get a 1st?

For a change, a Manson trade I can like, although I don't know why you would want to acquire Kesler's dead contract.

I don't think that Clifford signs for that little, and if he does, you have to exchange the 2021 second and third.

That doesn't come close to landing a #1 RD.

lol seabs isn't going on LTIR, but if he is then we can put him there ourselves and not give a top 10 pick

Taking on the LTIR reduces the Manson cost by a little bit... saves the Ducks over a million dollars in real money (and since theyre cheap AF its reasonable theyd do it)

1. If Seabrook goes on LTIR the hawks can afford to put him there. We’re not dealing with Florida
2. That is a massive over pay for Manson. A 3c a guy who played really well at 2rd for us and a top 10 pick. I like Manson but that’s a joke.
3. That doesn’t start talks on Klingberg especially retained

Check Dubas' record on trades for dmen...this fits in with exactly what they paid in previous deals

Again.. check Dubas' record on trades for dmen. This lines up well with what was paid for Muzzin and Barrie

1.Manson is not as good as Muzzin and Muzzin didn’t get a top 10 pick
2. Dubas’ history doesn't matter because Dallas doesn’t accept.

Manson is pretty much a right handed MUzzin... the cost goes up a little because its salary in and salary out to make it happen. Dallas needs top 6 forward help and there they get it... totally lines up with the deals Dubas makes

IMO Nylander must be part of any discussion involving Klingberg.

Klingberg is a first pair RD with incredible offensive upside. He is 27 years old (28 in August) and he is on a very nice contract for the next 2 seasons.

Isnt worth NYlander... is not as good as Barrie and the Leafs overall paid less for Barrie. Its a foolish notion to think that every dman thats on the block is going to cost Nylander... people need to get that stupidity out of their heads

1. Muzzin is better than Manson offensively and defensively
2. Once again it doesn’t matter what Dubas paid before that dosent get you Klingberg he’s worth much more than that

Yep... but even if people thought Klingberg was the better offensive dman the Leafs are still paying a lot more here than they did for Barrie

I do not think we will be able to have a discussion if you think that Barrie is a better overall D than Klingberg. Good luck.

We are not talking the Anaheim ducks or Florida Panthers or even Arizona. Chicago pays the money to not give up a first round pick

why would chicago give up a top 10 pick to save pocket change?

if he is on LTIR, he counts zero against the cap.
