Yeah that doesn’t work for Detroit at all. Buffalo takes that and runs.

Do yourself a favor and never make a Kings ACGM again, this is a disgrace.

It's basically a 1st and a 3rd for a 34yr Quick with a cap hit of $5.8M for three more seasons. Quick's GAA and SV% aren't much better than Bernier's and Detroit allowed 56 more goals than Detroit.

Canucks and Wings not taking players over 30 with large and length contracts and espicially for young players or high picks.

The only reason Boeser is even in trade talks is because the Canucks need to clear salary. You missed the ballpark by a mile.

The Kings aren't trading Doughty, Kopitar, or 1st round picks before 2022. Don't bother making trades with any of those pieces included.

Honestly I doubt the Sabres would make this dealeven as proposed. He is a great player and we would love to have him, but no way to make their cap work with this player. If LA were taking Okposo contract back then maybe, but still probably not.

There's no scenario that has Kopitar going to Buffalo unless it is as part of a package in return for Eichel.

If Eichel were to request a trade they would have zero interest in bringing back players in their 30's or players with high cap #'s. Kopitar would be a no thanks for both reasons

I'm not saying they should, just that a trade doesn't happen for Kopitar unless it's in return for Eichel.

Understood. I don't think the Sabres make a deal for Kopitar even if Kings want little return. Just no way to fit his contract under their cap

IMO Kopitar stays with LA until the end of his deal. No team is going to offer the return LA would want with the contract that they would be taking on when they acquire him.

I don't disagree. It was more my way of saying that Kopitar isn't getting traded.
