I think Vegas is a big no.
The BUF is closer, may depend on who is still on the board at #8 on draft day

That Vegas trade is just horrible. We have no one to replace Petry.

To be fair if Juulsen can stop receiving pucks to the face he could be ready for bigger minutes, not Petry's minutes right away but bigger ones nonetheless.
Also if Vegas' dumb enough to make this trade you shush and sign.

I'd be interested to know by a Vegas fan which player could get us those two doe.

You’re not getting pick8 for Domi
After coming off a down year,
he just isn’t worth a top10 pick in this draft

I really don't see a future for Petry in MTL beyond next season. How much are you willing to pay a 33yr old dmam?

The problem is that as Weber gets older, we’re left without a #1 Dman, and our right side consists of 2 2nd pairing Defensemen and a 3rd pairing player (and that’s being optimistic).

I’d give Petry around $6 to $7 million for 2-3 years, depending on the market. If he leaves we have no one to replace him as a number one defenseman, and the only way to add that type of player is to draft them. So ideally we can draft a RHD this year or next year who can replace his minutes when his next deal is done.

Where do Jullsen, Brooks and Fleury fit? As a free agent how about Hamilton?
