You're not getting that much from TBL to take Gourde. You have him on your 2nd line for a reason.

You have very little options with Gourde, and yes it'll cost 2 1sts to move him - he's not really a player in demand

Top 6 player on a great contract, can play 2 C or RW - kinda solves the top 6 depth problem over there - 8th OA certainly doesn't for at least 3 seasons probably 4

that was the reason I put the fourth, to satisfy the Leafs. I guess it’s obsolete, then

They should be, Bouchard and Bear is risky - Hjarmlsson is an upgrade on Russell on a discount contract , Vet leadership to replace the failed experiment with Mike Green while having the entire season to see how it plays out with the injuries that will happen on the backend ( see klefboom) Hjarmlsson is a nice little pick up

If moving russell it’s to open cap for a 3c and open minutes for Jones. Klef nurse jones broberg still on LD and larsson, bear, benning, bouch on RD depth on d is no issue for the next few years.

Hjarmlsson is a single year and with the retention he's at 2.5 , Benning probably not getting qualified (QO of 2 mill) or he's traded , Broberg isn't ready, Bouch still hasn't played an NHL game - what you listed there isn't depth - 2 are prospects

I absolutely LOVE that trade for the Sharks. Especially with a young RW thrown in for the deal.

I wouldn’t play him ahead of any of the current top four... I don’t see how can justify demoting any of klef nurse larsson bear after the season they had.

So it’s worth not qualifying benning who’s been one of the best 3rd pairing defenders and still be cheaper? There just is no fit with jones broberg and bouch knocking on the door. There’s just tooo many bodies as it is.

Yeah every rumor is that the Sharks will trade that 1st to get a top-6 forward. Personally, I'm hoping they keep it though.

What do you think Hinostroza would sign for though? Maybe $4-5 mil over 2 years.

Still overvaluing schmaltz and 8OA in this draft looks to be ready in 1 year not 3 to 4 lol

Schmaltz is way too inconsistent and is injuried too often to be a regular in the top 6.

When edmonton does trade russell, they will probably try to get a forward since their d core is stacked
Klef-Larsson
Nurse-Bear
Jones- Benning/Bouchard/Green/ any 3RHD

HARD NO!!! Hard hard hard no from sharks
Not hard because the value is poor hard because that trade would vastly improve 2 weak points In our teams lineup instantly for a great price but with stupid jones Vlassic and Karlsson eating up our cap space we really don’t have the money to add both these players and still fill all the other holes on the team. I think we do TBL 1st and SJ 21 3rd And gambrel if you retained 1.5/1.75 on Raata contract.

I'm thinking Sorenson and the 2nd for Raanta, Hinostroza and a 6th. By my calculations on an AGM team I'm making right now, we should have about $2.5-3 mil in cap space (assuming Marleau and Thornton return for about 900k and Labanc signs for $3 mil/year.

If we can fill holes and get a complete lineup I would be estatic for this trade!
