You are the most notable TBL fan. Let me know what you’d like to move Johnson for. I think he could be a quality 2nd line center for Columbus.

Not that high, a 3rd and a B prospect? The issue is where he's willing to waive to.

After what you did to them last year. I don’t even think they’d pick up the phone. Haha

2nd and a 3rd. Probably a little more if we’re sending him to that team

Tyler usually steps up during playoffs when he is healthy. Cooper has moved him back to center along side Coleman. I predict he will have a strong playoff run. He then will work w TB and find an appropriate team. The return should be a second round pick and no additional sweetener necessary.

Why would he work with the team to find a new home? Seriously, what is his incentive to do so?

If the Lightning asked him to waive for whatever reason why would he try to force his stay on a team that obviously doesn't want his services any longer since he was asked to waive. Wouldn't it be better for him to try and find a team that wants him and will give him better chance to play more minutes, he can pick his next team from the suitors who inquire the Lightning.

These guys are human beings first. Idk anything about TJ off ice, but it's likely he family, friends, etc. that are established. There are likely very good reasons for him not to waive.

Second, they do want his services. He's a good player and he earned that contract (including the trade protection). He has held up his end and the team should hold up theirs. It's not his fault they are in cap trouble.

Finally, let's say he picks a couple contenders. How many can take on his contract without moving money out. Even if everything goes right and he's willing to waive and picks a team, that team has to want him and be able to afford him. And then that team isn't going to pay what he's worth or anywhere close.

I don't see it. Maybe Gourde waives to get a bigger role elsewhere. Maybe. If he does then TB lucked out. I think it's more likely one of Cirelli or Sergachev is gone though. They were fetch a hefty return, whereas Gourde or Johnson wouldn't even bring back what they're worth, so it's arguably better for the Bolts in the end anyway.

We'll see what happens. Not a fan of the team (nothing against them either), but I am looking forward to seeing how it all shakes out.

He has a ntc. But we is destined to being moved around little powe play time. Find a good team that needs a 2c that will give him more minutes. Point is 1c cirelli 2c Stamkos kuch top wings then you have killorn palat coleman.
