Really think this is the wrong way to look at Detroit's rebuild, trading away a younger player who can be part of the future for more picks that are just question marks at this point just prolongs the pain of the rebuild imo.
They should be signing Bertuzzi to a long term deal not trading him for a few picks.

If you read what I wrote earlier, a fair offer would start with a middle 6 young forward, a high level prospect and a first to start.... and that might not be enough.
