NYR 2020- Tried to be realistic

Description
NYR with a few trades.
Seem realistic. Nothing outrageous.
Yes Miller is on the off side, but he could do it for 1 season to learn with Staal.
Welcome discussion.

No thanks. The value is there but we don't want another high offense D...We need a bigger guy that can hit, block shots and still get 15-20 points that can play with Morrissey

Deangelo is likely going to be looking for a hefty raise and isn't good defensively. I highly doubt the Jets would be looking at Deangelo.

Not a chance Wings are paying that much. Maybe one of those picks, def not both. More likely still they'll just sign a free agent backup/1B and keep their draft assets since they aren't competing with or without George

I actually did DeAngelo to the Jets because of their rumored interest in him around the deadline. Don't see a fit anymore?

NO...we got schooled by Calgary because we were so small on the back end. As Pionk and Morrissey are the main stays, we need two bigger guys to pair with them as those two are 6' and smaller

Seems like a decent place to start building from is from the back. They have plenty of draft capital. This would solve G for the next few years.

Wings fan here and that Georgiev trade is not far off. Do.like the idea of a young goalie coming up with other players. Neither pick is. Wings pick.

Pretty easy no for Ottawa. Strome's value is drastically overinflated thanks to Panarin so he'll be wanting a contract he's absolutely not worth and Ottawa won't be the ones to pay that. On top of that, they're not in the position where they're ready to be trading picks for middling talent. They would do it for very good, established players, but Strome is just not that.

Senators have NO centers. Like hardly any NHL center depth. They could do a ton worse than Strome at 5 million AAV.

WPG takes that and runs, easily. OTT most likely does as well.

For 2020-2021? Sure. For beyond that? Zero interest in a middle 6 center getting overpaid. They have Tierney, White, and Anisimov as NHL centers right now and will have Brown or Norris (or maybe Stutzle/Byfield) in the last spot. There's zero need for a guy with fake, inflated numbers and soon to be a bad contract when they will pretty quickly replace anything he can offer. They could do a ton better than Strome at 5 million AAV, starting with not making a bad trade like that.
