Interesting proposal, but I think it’d have to be 3rd cause we have to land one of the big three, even then I don’t wanna pass on Laf

Rangers pass. I think the only way you're able to trade for him is if Chabot is involved

i read a report of 3 and 5 for 1

i dont think Sens do it tho they have plenty of wingers, they need a centre way more

If Chabot is in the deal, youre not getting any of our top 2 picks lol and i still wouldnt do it. An elite #1 D is worth more than a 1st line winger

I know Ottawa blocks the number but I've said the NYR only move it if its an insane overpay.

Tkachuk, Brannstrom, 3, 5. Type of overpay.

yeah i dont think so. I think the Rangers take 3, 5 and run if Ottawa offered that. Stutzle/Byfield and Raymond is an absurd overpay. Laf isnt Shane Wright/Mackinnon/McDavid level

Both the Rangers and Canucks pass. Eriksson has a bad contract but Zaitsev is not what VAN needs on their blueline.

Nah. Those are complementary pieces. If I was the GM I wouldn't even consider. Lafreniere>>>>>>>>>>>> Byfield&Raymond

Are you expecting Laf to be a 100 point player or something? Because if you are you may want to temper those expectations

he'll be a 80 point player but his talent is unmatched.

haha thats crazy no way. The top 3 are very close to each other and Raymond is going to be a solid 1st liner also. Def not complementary pieces lol

Ok but I'm still not doing that and I doubt the NYR want those pieces rather than a #1 to play with their #2 in Kakko.

I think Byfield and Stutzle have 80 points potential too. In fact i think Stutzle's skillsets allow him to get points easier at the NHL level, i could see 90+ from him. I think Byfield will be Barkov/Malkin level talent

Lafreniere is more of sure thing but I've watched Lafreniere way more than the others. I still feel Stutzle will be better than Byfield. People rave about his size? Kevin Hayes has his frame. I'm not buying it.

thats awesome but i wouldnt do it if im Ottawa. I think Raymond will be better than Kakko and Byfield/Stutzle will be almost as good Laf or possibly better

ive never seen a guy his size with that speed, he also had 2pts a game in the OHL as a 17 year old, one of the youngest player in this draft and he will dominate the WJHC next year

I'm not worried about what Ottawa wants. They should keep their picks and we should keep ours. Idk why Kings, Habs, Sens fans want to deviate from their plans. All teams are on the right path.

Kings are taking Stutzle since they prefer a winger and Byfield going 3 is just a turn off for trading Lafreniere.
