I thought we already agreed the price for Strome was either Brodin 1 for 1 or Greenway and a first round pick?

He did say a bunch of stuff that won't happen. It looks to me to be a what I would like to see armchair. Interesting.

Isles decline with Cizikas included. He's too important to our team, even with an aging Staal coming back

Greenway and a 1st for Strome, not a 2nd. It can be the later of MN's two picks next year

I don't like that trade for the Leafs. I think Dumba is not great, and the skillset he brings is not really the one the Leafs need

Gotcha! I know Nylander’s very good, I don’t know their respective values relative to team need. I’ve seen Dumba - Nylander 1 for 1 a few times on here, and it fit my narrative really nicely so I figured why not? In your opinion, am I over-valuing Dumba, or do the Leafs just need a different type of player?

I think is just a bit overvalued, but this is not the thing here what really makes it a no for me.

Dumba is a spectacular player, who has offensive flair and is quite physical, but I think the Leafs need more of a Brodin type (not saying Brodin), who looks very boring, does nothing spectacular but is very good in his own end, does a lot of simple plays etc.

The Leafs need to get a bit more boring in my opinon if that makes sense?

Okay, okay, how bout Greener, a 2nd, AND half a can of Skol Spearmint that Dany Heatley left in the locker room in 2014? Does that move the needle at all?

Jk, one of next years 1st’s makes sense.

Strome - I think Minnesota has to up the 2nd to a 2021 1st

Nylander - My offer would be Dumba & a 2nd for Nylander. I just can't imagine Toronto accepting a 1-for-1 deal like that

Minnesota doesn't get enough of a return in the Parise/Staal trade

If Brodin is moved, it should be a legit top 6 C or a package similar to the one Zucker brought back. The last thing Minnesota needs is another left stick winger

The Dermott deal isn't worth it. Especially when we can just keep Brodin

I hear you! I would probably agree with the necessity of the changes to Strome and Nylander trades.

On Domi-Brodin, Isles, and Dermott, each is a little off as a stand alone trade, but I’d say (in a Dr Evil voice) they feel pretty good on the whole.

In all seriousness this is a pretty outlandish collection of moves, hence the title. I wanted to see how different I could make things while adhering somewhat to the realm of real possibility.

I think MTL considers that trade offer, and probably end up accepting.

An aging Staal is like a fine wine brother. More expressive, savory aroma, smooth and rich with elegance.

Idk, I’d reconsider if I were the Isles.

Hilarious response but I'm still gonna say no dice tears of joy
