Why would you want good goaltending during a rebuild? The idea is to be bad to get good draft picks....

Wouldn't mind Hextall as GM, given the place the Flyers are now.

I'd try to find someone other than Regula to add as a prospect to VGK for Tuch. Regula is one of the few defensive prospects we have with both size and top-four upside; with Kalynuk arriving, I wouldn't mind using Beaudin in that trade to bring the pick down to a 3rd.

I mean Tampa gave up two first for Coleman, and I don't think beans worth a first anymore
and Chicago could throw in Nylander

dont think u want a good goalie in a rebuild, and Alec Regula is potential 2nd pair dman i wouldnt trade him especially in a rebuild.

I don’t get why Vegas gets rid of tuch, especially under his current contract and how he’s looked in the playoffs

Nylander certainly closes the gap. Bean should absolutely be worth a first. His top four upside hasn’t gone anywhere. He’s just buried in depth in Carolina

I had looked at him when everybody was doing the trade Klinger thing. I think both have played themselves out of any trade conversations lol
