Description

the idea here is to get the leafs to become an extremely defensively sound team while still maintaining the core four together. the exterior of the offense outside of our 3C’s, marner, nylander, and, based on james mirtle, nicholas robertson, the other players are expendable. also, we give joesph woll a chance as he looks really solid, and we have a great defensive side. a note on the dumba trade - a trade for kapanen and johnson for dumba was rumored, and i felt that if that was even considered, this could def happen.

canes say no. 2 3rd liners and a RHD prospect isnt getting 13OA and Fleury. We have plenty of 3rd liners.

I have 0 desire for Dumba - but I'd jump all over that deal (although describing a team as "extremely defensively sound team", but they have both Rielly and Dumba made me chuckle).

Funniest part of all this is that chart.

2nd funniest is "we give joesph woll a chance as he looks really solid". I'm not giving up on the kid, but he had a horrible year with the Marlies - like absolutely no hockey fans, casual or hardcore have thought that handing the crease to Woll next season is a good idea. There would literally be 100s of better options then making Woll the No.1.

You are certainly the one and only fan to have had that thought cross your mind! Bravo!

Canes reject. We have enough bottom 6 guys. I'd consider something like Fleury and 1st for Nylander though
