Kessel vs Gourde is almost fair
MTL decline quick
FLA maybe
Even if Palat have good playoffs I doubt COL target him but fair trade

Every trade is dependent on waived full ntc’s. How do you explain that?

I would not do that Arizona trade at all. Tampa would be better off sending a 1st and trading Gourde outright while keeping their 2nd first, Volkov and Raddysh who might be able to be cheap depth players.

I think on a good team kessel goes back to productive but Idk how Tampa affords him with all the cap issues already. Plus if cirelli or serg seem the least unhappy about contract negotiations you might see someone throw an offersheet out.

How do you explain Hjarmarsson waiving for Toronto after losing in a qualifying round against CBJ and AZ retaining 50% for a 2nd and 3rd?

Hjalmarsson is retained by Ottawa for the 3rd (should have read the explanation) hjalmarsson waives to get healthy so he can sign a final contract. Toronto is a playoff team. Arizona will not be next year.

Well I humoured your tu quoque fallacy.

So why don’t you actually answer. You have 4 players simultaneously waiving off a cup contending team.... and you have Arizona retaining. Which you apparently think is a big deal.

Toronto is barely a playoff team. I'm sure the likelyhood of people wanting to waive is getting thinner since they can't even make it past the 1st round let alone a qualifying round against CBJ.

2 of the waives are wishful thinking in the AZ and MTL.

With Gourde in AZ, he easily top 6 minutes and AZ is a nice place to live.

With Johnson he wont have to move his family far and he will be on a team with Barkov, Huberdeau, and Ekblad. Not hard to imagine him waiving.

The other one should be common sense, but not for you I guess. Colorado is a contender.

Not all my ACGMs are entirely serious as we can see with some of yours. Please, some day get off your high horse.

High horse? Because I asked why 4 of the 6 players you are trading are going to waive nmc’s?

Fringe playoff team? Yet somehow we have been in there for the last four years in a divisional spot...

if any other team had toronto's record, they'd be a playoff team.

because it's toronto, they're actually bad and terrible.

Kreider/Hall/Tatar/Domi/Saad/Killorn off the top of my head.
Dont take it so personally, just not a fan of Palat, especially at that value

by no means am i trying to be argumentative, but given the fact COL has good assets and lots of cap space, id expect them to go after a player of higher caliber than Palat, thats all
