Zero interest in Hornqvist from Colorado. We're a young team and the last thing we need is an overpaid 33 year old.

Trading both goalies in a BAD idea. Fleury is old and it makes no sence to bring him back unless if he's on a reasonable contract and is the backup to Jarry. (To help mentor him)

Pittsburgh has to give up more than that to get MAF at 5m and Cousins. Should be at least a 2nd or B prospect coming back to Vegas in that trade.

I agree!! Colorado needs to stay young and a Horny bring nothing that the Avs dont already have, plus he's overpayed which Pens fans (my brother) seem to think he's not.

Hornqvist could be exactly what Colorado needs. Young teams need veteran guys that know the grind of the playoffs. Hornqvist has 2 cups and provides some physicality and net front presence for their PP to be even mor deadly. & his contract isn't THAT bad when it's $5.3M for only another 3 years and Colorado has the cap space to fit him. Maybe Colorado sends a contract Pittsburgh's way to help offset a little bit, but Hornqvist would be a great fit in Colorado. Especially playing on a line with Kadri and pissing off the other teams every night

Colorado already has plenty of veteran guys who "know the grind" (eg. Cole). We also have the best PP% in the playoffs so Hornqvist brings nothing that we don't already have.

redundancy can be a good thing sometimes though. Imagine Kadri and Hornqvist playing together in the playoffs.

There are many players who would be good fits with Kadri, who are both younger and cheaper than Hornqvist.

Right. We shouldn’t be holding any of Fleurys money to begin with

big pass by the Avs

they do not want an aging player who has a rough contract that is going to be over paying him till hes 38 years old. He doesnt fit at all to the Avs identity

No. This is just more Yinzer pining for the olden days nonsense. Fleury is old, not to mention he never got the job done in PGH after 2009. And before you even try to bring up "But 2017! And Vegas in 2018!" Anomalies can happen and definitely have. How many times did 29 and company blow a 3-1 series lead in PGH? In 2013 he was replaced in the freaking first round by Vokun and never could win back his starting job. Then in 2014 when he was the starter he blew a 3-1 series lead against the Rangers who we were supposed to dispatch in 5/6 games easily. Then lets all remember the series of no save percentage in 2012 where he couldnt stop a puck to save his life. Then in 2011 another 3-1 series lead completely blown to the Lightning who at the time consisted of nothing more then a 1-3-1 System.
