Replace Compher with a mid-pick or B prospect and NSH accepts.

If Nash would retain salary the pot would be sweetened.

Canucks don't need Jost. Connor Timmins perhaps?

How much retention, and what are you offering?

I doubt that Los Angeles gives up either the Kings' or the Canucks' second-rounder. Maybe the Las Vegas one.

Jost has had all the chances. Isn’t anything special. Vancouver shouldn’t do that trade

I'd go as high as the '21 1st for 50% (I know accounted for here).

With the short seasons and travel restrictions the '21 draft is monopoly money to me and I expect that to be the 32nd pickgrin

Timmins health is up in the air again, so I don't think either team is going be talking trade on him.

Getting something for a player that is going UFA anyway.

If so there will be enough interest for somebody to do better than Jost

It's just his signing rights. You're not actually trading Markstrom. You either lose him/Demko anyway.

What chances? He’s played exclusively in the bottom 6 the last 2 years, where he’s developed into an all around NHL player even killing penalties . COL kinda messed up his development, but given a solid chance at a roll in the top 6 imo he’s a 40-45 pt player.

He reminds me a lot of Dickinson. I love the player and want there to be more there but it just isn’t

Maybe but honestly I think he gets a top 6 roll in Seattle. Some guys just need a sustained chance in the roll, look at Karlsson in VGK. Not saying he is that but there is a reason he was drafted 10th overall and he has definitely show flashes of being a 40+ pt guy.
