What do they think of strome, would they move him for a couple picks or is still a wait and see

I would prefer the Hawks sign him, but he's a #2C and not a #3C. I wouldnt be surprised if he was traded.

We traded Zach Smith for a reason. His cash paid is too high. We don't want him back.

Big ole no from SJ. Not in the business of trading a 21 year old top 4 D on an ELC plus two picks to move up 14 spots.

It depends how much cap we have after signing kubs and crow, then I could see de Haan, shaw, smith, or Maata being moved to sign him and if Bowman decides to trade him it will be for a top LD.

No. Moving from 34 to 17 or moving from 31 to 17 is about as negligible as you can get. Ferraro only moves in a true hockey deal that yields a young cost controlled top 9 forward (think something centered around Strome). Even then they’d have to be overwhelmed with the value due to the bang for your buck you get with a Top 4 guy for less than $1 mil in a flat cap for a few years. Especially when you don’t have to protect him in expansion either.

You have to understand he’s very young and he started playing better and better as the season progressed with a healthy offseason and 10-15 more pounds of muscle he is a legit 22 year old top 4 D man on an ELC for two more years. Sharks can not trade a kid like that.
But he’s a unknown commodity so I get why he’s being undervalued in AGM. But in real world the only way he leaves is for a top 6 forward and he doesn’t have the resume (yet) to pull that.
