That doesn't get you Manson, And giving up Parayko and Bozak for Marner and Liljegren makes no sense. You lose Parayko and risk not being able to resign Pietrangelo. So why would Armstrong do this?

Stop trading Marner/Nylander. These guys are future corner stones of the entire franchise, if the leafs trade them before they even hit their prime, they are just asking for another Kadri trade all over again

Nylander across the same number of games has the same goals/assists as MacKinnon did at the same point in his career. How would the Avs feel now if they traded him for a 30 something RHD?

Not saying Nylander has ever remotely been the player that MacKinnon is now... but do we really wanna risk it? Every year these guys have been taking steps, Matthews into a 2 way 50 goal scoring centre, Nylander into an elite sniper, Marner into a 90 point playmaker who always gives his centreman career years.

These guys aren't even all 24 yet, let's wait a bit before we move them

I still don't believe that Bozak has negative value, so forget the Blais is the cost of moving Bozak stuff.

As for Marner... I think I rate him higher than most Leafs fans. Still, the Blues aren't taking that contract. It would put us in cap hell for a winger. The Leafs don't consider this for a couple of reasons but first because Parayko has two years left before UFA.

Bozak makes 5 mil a year. 29 pts in 67 games this past season. Love the guy but way too much for that return.
