I have no interest in giving up 6 OA. Nylander is a good player, but doesn't address the main issue that the Ducks have, and takes up too much space to address it (Similar to Toronto!).

If it were a situation where you go out and say "OK, we're missing 1 piece and it's William Nylander!", sure, I'd consider it. But, as it currently stands, unless the Ducks are sending back a big contract, it doesn't work.

Every single one of these trades is HEAVILY in favor of Toronto. Every other team says no.

If we trade Matt Roy, we would have to go out and get a RD on the free agent market because we don't have anyone in the system we can promote, even into the bottom pairing. So we're not trading Roy for Travis Dermott.

Sure you got Pietrangelo,,,,but what it's really just hoping that Simmons and Korshov can play 25 minutes effectively at right wing. Bennett at 3C...especially disastrous if Tavares and Matthew ever go down with injury. Hoping Barbarnov is an NHLer.
