Why would Tyler Johnson agree to waive his full NTC to Florida? Florida is more then likely shedding salary not taking more on. Like csick said one of Cirelli/Sergachev will've to be traded more then likely. The Killorn to Colorado makes tons of sense for both clubs.

elite 2C. 55-60pts ceiling with being able to shutdown opposing 1Cs

Same income taxes, and also more ice time as he could fill the 2C role.

Florida is hurting big time low attendance, Ownership with this pandemic is probably selling off a few pieces not taking more expensive pieces on. But we shall see.

Yeah Florida is losing both Dadonov and Hoffman because ownership wants to shed salary. Not take on a contract for another 4 years at $5 million per.

With no real 2C in free agency, Johnson is one of the most viable options. He could also waive to go to Seattle next year

Cernak at $894K is ridiculous. Any number of teams would give him an OS north of $2M. Might just be me but I would be surprised if TBL didn’t have at least 2 OS to deal with. It’s going to be fascinating to watch.

Offer sheets very rarely happen. Also, M. Pettersson and DeAngelo signed similar deals after their ELC

I agree OS rarely happen COViD and a flat cap are even more rare. Literally a perfect storm combined with Tampa’s extreme cap issue and I think teams are going to look at it and say “we could get these assets fairly cheap, everything considered”. Heck I would like to see the Avs OS Cernak because I think he would be a beast 2nd line d anchor with Girard or Byram and help out in the PK. All that for 2nd rd compensation. And I think you have teams like WPG looking at Cirelli the same way and other teams looking at Sergachev that way as well. I would be disappointed in all the other GM’s in the league if they didn’t at least try.

Cernak will get more, but Cirelli and Serg will get less on their bridges, so some of l money can go to Cernak. Coburn is also going to be off the roster, and I think they will both bring up Foote and try to keep Maroon as well for the 4th line. Rutta is 50/50 imo, he's solid but very injury prone, so I can see the Bolts letting him walk. Killorn should return better than a 2nd in a weak class, more in the range of a 2nd+ this year. Johnson has the weakest value, but still don't think a 1st round pick will need to be added to move him. Tampa would rather waive him than lose a 1st to get rid of him, and not just for Acciari.
