Chicago is the 4th or 5th youngest team in the league and the goal is to continue to build around those young players with more young players, not over the hill expensive players. Kubalik, Dach, Strome, Debrincat, Boqvist, Ian Mitchell...that's a pretty good young core of players.

And Chicago is not bad, they are top 20, not bottom 10 and after a dynasty in the last decade with 3 cups it's expected when you retool developing a young core of players.
