Calgary has 5 LD already, we don’t need Ghost, dunno why we’d trade down for that

I think that Laine trade is definitely one of the more realistic ones that I have seen. Steep price, but a good return for the Jets.

Best of luck with that Tyson Barrie stuff. 7 million dollars is just too much.

Winnipeg would say no. Patrick doesn't have much, if any, value and Sanheim is an LD, so not a long term need for Winnipeg.

If I'm looking at it correctly (very well may have missed something) they'd have ~7M that summer. I overpaid Barrie to see how it would be this season but if that drops a bit it could be between 8-9M

With expansion I'd pay to have Voracek picked and it opens up another 8M. It would be tight and there needs to be some wiggle room for sure. This is a bit of a pipe dream as is but it *could* work for the near and long term future.

If this were to pan out, which I dont think it would this is a pipe dream, I'd have to see what the actual outlook is with the cap. I believe it would leave 7M, I overpaid Barrie for the sake of seeing the numbers but I think he'd realistically garner 5-6M. Expansion id leave Voracek available and even pay to get him picked to open up the cap. Hart/Laine would be the big contracts next year. If they can keep Laine <9M it's a steal IMO

You aren't getting any value for JVR.. That's an anchor or a contract
