If Brodie accepts $2 mil, Calgary resigns him in a heartbeat. He is going to look to re-up at $4.5 at a minimum (and with term). You also lose Landeskog next year with no cap space. Keep fishing

That’s not going all in, that’s sinking everything in the toilet for 1 yr. you actually committed to 20+ per year for the Avs to guys over 30 AND gave up 8 pieces for Carey Price. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Bergevin will be shopping Price and he'll be looking for multiple draft picks for him. That's what I factored into this trade.

this looks like in Franchise Mode, where you have an absolute steal of a trade by sending a bunch of high draft picks, then try to milk a few picks out of the other team when it asks you to make roster moves

Bergevin won’t be shopping price. If he were it would start off with your starter and 3 1sts I’d imagine minimum.

Who cares Prices contract is a toxic waste dump. All these moves literally mean it’s a guarantee that multiple young players are gone and the Avs are in cap hell.

Not a team in the league not one is giving MTL 3 1st rd picks for a 33 yr old goalie with 6 yrs left at $10.5M cap hit.
