That’s an awful lot for 1 player.... ultimately it’s really not great for Columbus. Adding Laine’s offense would be great, but losing Foudy and our 2020 1st might be too much for us, we have 1 prospect who is listed as a center and moving the one we have to get a wing hurts when we need a 2nd line center as our biggest need. We are also moving out Gavrikov who is projected to be the number 3 d in a year when Savard and Murray leave as we can’t afford them when Laine asks for 10 mil next offseason. Leaving a d core of Jones, Werenski, Peeke, Kukan, Carlsson and Harrington. Major yikes.

Good for a year, after that Laine isn’t worth it for Columbus as it still leaves us with a massive hole in the line up at 2nd line center and no projected player to fill that hole.
