FLEECED. Anderson is a hospital patient and you gave up a third to do it.
I agree. The deal will become a bust if Anderson cannot bounce back from injury.
If he heals 100% - he will have a full year to do so - and comes back to where he was before, then that deal is great.
You call it like this on pure speculation that he cannot bounce back. Pure speculation on your part. Acting as though you're a doctor that sees in the future.
Have you checked with the medical staff that know him and evaluate him?
Do you know he was about to get back in the lineup had the CBJ reached the 2nd round?
No. Pure speculation and I can guarantee you just dislike the Habs, that's all.
A more balanced mind, a more genuine comment would be this:
IF Anderson doesn't recover well from his injury = Habs lost the trade.
IF Anderson bounces back from injury = fair deal.
And what about this, if you want to be fair and balanced, and not just speaking with emotion (hating the Habs while not having examined Anderson's health and going on sheer projection):
IF Domi bounces back from a bad season, AND Anderson doesn't recover from injury = Habs got fleeced.
IF Domi doesn't bounce back from a bad season, AND Anderson does recover well from injury = Columbus got fleeced.
That is being fair and balanced, without juvenile emotions.
